Belfavn builds Business Desk — an AI assistant for the websites of local service businesses — and takes on a limited amount of project work alongside it.
Why this, and not something else
Small service businesses lose work for a boring reason. Someone lands on the website at an hour when nobody is there, types four words, and waits. Two days later they have already booked whoever answered first.
Nothing about that needs a large system to solve. It needs something on the website that asks the three questions you would have asked, and puts a complete request in front of you while the person is still interested. That is what Business Desk does, and it is the whole reason the company exists.
The document side came from the same place: the same owners, drowning in the same receipts, the week before the same tax deadline.
How we work
- A tool you have to remember to use is not a tool
- Business Desk works while you are on a roof or under a sink. Nothing to open, nothing to check, no dashboard habit to build.
- AI should say what it is
- The assistant tells every visitor it is not a person before they type anything, and it never quotes a price or agrees to anything on your behalf. Those are your decisions.
- Small enough to answer the phone
- Belfavn is deliberately small. You will not be handed between account managers, and the person who replies to your email is the person who built the thing.
